Advisers call for FCA action on phoenix firms

Only 2% of advisers think the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is doing enough to stop so-called phoenix firms, according to a poll by support services provider SimplyBiz.

Phoenixing is a practice which allows directors to wind-up a company and set up another without taking personal liability for claims against their original firm.
