Sifa: we shook off 'small club' tag with SimplyBiz buyout

Sifa has been transformed from a ‘small club’ for IFAs and solicitors looking to link up into a growing and increasingly commercial organisation thanks to its acquisition by SimplyBiz, according to chairman Ian Muirhead.
Muirhead founded Sifa in 1992 when he was financial services director at Surrey-based law firm TWM Solicitors, after being inundated with calls from advisers looking for referrals.
The group aimed to boost links between the two professions and offer compliance services to IFAs.
